Omni food Project
Omni Food project that provide healthy and organic meal at your door step is an application built for a delivering healthy meal. I Design & develop this project from scratch with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. This Subscription application required a lot of heavy lifting to introduce the healthy product range and include support pages.
Project Purpose and Goal
This project included phases and iterations of the site. Phase 1 simply helps users to enter their email to get a free sample or know more about food categories. Phase 2 was quite larger and is designed to introduce the users to Omni food partner and its mobile application. Phase three is by far the largest and most complex, as it includes all recipes by Omni Food and helps the user to choose his favourite category from the given choice or make his own.
Stack Used for Developing and Designing
Javascript and CSS made the most sense for the web application because both languages are used for a web application, CSS 3 for designing and javascript for functionalities. Figma used for designing and prototyping process.
Problems and Thought Process
Like most projects, I ran into a few hurdles along the way, one challenging area was the organization, and structure of the code. Because of this project's size, I realized how important to maintain an organized structure of application structure. And the second hurdle I encountered during development was that the application development process was from scratch, from designing to developing so it was very difficult to make the application and code useable for all devices and all browsers. I try my best to over-counter this hurdle by using CSS advanced and modern concepts like flex-box, grid and variable. I worked hard to keep code of pieces as reusable as possible and utilized simple CSS classes for elements in CSS and Javascript. In this way, I try to keep the file structure simple and organized.
